Explosion in OrchidLand? - dayna - 12-19-2013
We just heard a very large explosion sound here up on 40th and Aulii in OrchidLand.
Didn't sound like a gunshot (not sharp enough, lasted to long) sounded larger than home fireworks.
Looked around, didn't see anything out of the ordinary.
Anyone else?

Lot's of lightening. Most likely a lightening strike is my guess.

I'm not seeing any lightening or hearing thunder right now (been having it all day though) this just happened like 10 minutes ago (about 8pm).
Transformer, could be. Would our power go out?

your power would go out if it was going through the transformer that blew. If you're on a different line, no problem.

Yes, most likely thunder or even lightning. It rarely happens around here, but yesterday was the day that it was!
