Black Rock Cafe or a good steak place Pahoa - dayna - 01-18-2014
I see it mentioned a few times but have a question. I had the chicken adobo there and it was very very good!
I wanna go out and have a steak for dinner, tonight. I want it to be in Pahoa. I'm not overly picky, but I don't like my steak overcooked to death. I like a nice medium rare steak. I know that's a lot to ask for.
I don't wanna drive into Hilo or Volcano (Ponds/Kilauea Lodge).
Suggestions?

One of the best steaks I've ever had in my life was at Kaleo's. I believe it was a special though, so I'm not sure it is something they have every night.

Kaleo's has prime rib on Friday and Saturday if that interests you.They have a top sirloin and a tenderloin that are both good too.
I have had great meals at both places but usually go to the Blackrock for breakfast.
