Brian Jordan candidacy? - Frankie Stapleton - 03-30-2014

I thought Brian Jordan ran for office previously as a Republican. Now he's a Democrat? I haven't seen him at any of the precinct or other Dem meetings. Anyone got any background info on Jordan?

Frankie, what is he running for, please?

All I know of Brian Jordan over the course of a decade or so, is he is a stand up guy, was respectful (extremely) to my Mother ([Smile]HUGE points!), and works hard.

Not that we have a glass of wine or beer together, nor do we agree on many issues, however, he seems to have good intentions.

JMO.

I've known Brian over the years also. I consider him to be seriously honest enough to be quite frustrated with the way things run around here. Brian is a Marine and also a former teacher. Of a conservative bend but thoughtful and respectful of everyone. It is very likely that his switch from Republican to Democrat is based on his honest assessment of the national parties. So if he has changed it is for the right reasons in my opinion.

I believe he is running for the state house of representatives - district 4.

Brian's a nice enough guy, but when he ran for office previously, he advocated prayer in schools. Since anyone of any faith can already pray whenever and wherever they want, this makes me curious.

I wonder if he still advocates this; and if so, which religion(s) would students be required to pray under?
