Musicians! - e_ave - 10-03-2007 My wife and I will be moving to Puna in 3 weeks. I'm looking for people to jam with on a semi-regular basis. I play guitar/bass and can pick up on just about any style music. RE: Musicians! - lotus - 10-03-2007 E_ave is a REALLY good musician. I should know I get the pleasure of listening to him play guitar on a very regular basis. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Erik Edited by - e_ave on 10/05/2007 12:14:37 RE: Musicians! - Kelena - 10-05-2007 I advise you to go acoustic in Hawai'i! Unplugged, baby! RE: Musicians! - oink - 10-05-2007 Lola's Boutique & Cafe 101 Aupuni Street Suite 147 Hilo, did have a jam night on weekends that was good. Rock & Roll kind of 60/70s style. It was BYOB and $5. Maybe someone can advise if they still have it. Pua`a S. FL Big Islander to be. RE: Musicians! - punafish - 10-05-2007 Erik, just checked with a friend who brought his amp over from Alaska. He put it in a tote, packed other stuff in it to keep things tight, taped it up and checked it in with his luggage. (Extra charge, but it was worth it, he said.) Tim |
