I'm going to try to make it -- although I don't know if I'll be diving (although my gear is finally ready thanks to the lovely ladies at Big Island Spearguns). Last time I went snorkeling (at Kapoho, mind you), I had a full-blown panic attack, which has never, ever happened to me. I may take it kinda easy.

I know what you mean John! I went so far as to buy scuba equipment (my honey at the time was a scuba addict) and then got rid of it, after spending one or two times trying it out only to just about lose it underwater. Kinda claustrophobic, or maybe it was the idea of being dependent on an airtube...whatever, the fun part escaped me.
really looking forward to checking out the new PRIDE shop next door to the Speargunz joint though. How exciting for Hilo!
Anyhow, this grrl is sticking to snorkeling which gives me all the thrills and none of the anxiety~

With such a meager response online I figured no one would be at Scuba Sunday....boy was I surprised by our turnout!
New people joined in, lots of our old friends. Food was abundant as always and the weather even cooperated. WOW
So... evem though I had to leave you all to do a little business, thank you all for coming and sharing another fun day. This club is sthe BEST.
