130 Blocked Just South of Pahoa HS - KeaauRich - 10-10-2014
There is a tree down across the road, power lines are down, lights are out and road is currently impassible. To continue south you'll need to turn left onto 132 and work your way back through Leilani.
Consider this a dress rehearsal for our potential future normal...

I guess this explains why my power blinked off for a couple seconds, then came back on. Those new lines and re-routing capabilities that Helco created last Spring must have worked.

Ours blinked too and I thought exactly the same thing. Re-routing worked almost instantaneously!
