I wanted to say hello to everyone here and show my 'face'. I'm a new resident of the fern forest sub-division. looking forward to getting to know one and all, on here and in real 3d!

thanks for the replies.
i am so new to the area that i'm still taking everything in, wide eyed and keenly alert. the off grid thing will occupy me for some time. otherwise just keeping quiet and enjoying the spirit of the place.
slow and steady seems best
it's a one way move for me, so now it's just all about building the homestead
