Lucky no one was wearing one - another walmart fail. RE: Wal-Mart On fire. - kalakoa - 12-31-2014 Nine minutes to respond... hmm. RE: Wal-Mart On fire. - PaulW - 12-31-2014 Arson RE: Wal-Mart On fire. - Tink - 12-31-2014 I agree that 9 minutes is a bit long for the first unit to respond for a large, heavily occupied commercial building in downtown. Seems that a 5 minute max response time would be more adequate based on cities I have worked in. Community begins with Aloha RE: Wal-Mart On fire. - snorkle - 12-31-2014 I'm not sure which companies 1,3,&4 are, but would guess Keaukaha, Kawailani, and Central. At 4:22 in the afternoon and the streets crowded with rush hour traffic, I think 9 minutes is a fast response time from any of the above. RE: Wal-Mart On fire. - shockwave rider - 01-01-2015 quote: Especially since so many drivers think they can just outdrive the emergency vehicles instead of pulling over. RE: Wal-Mart On fire. - MattKarma - 01-01-2015 I always pull over, but then sometimes follow in the wake. Weeeeee! Don't know if that's legal tho. RE: Wal-Mart On fire. - MattKarma - 01-01-2015 Actually, I've never seen anyone try to "outdrive" 'em. What a bogus response, must live in speedtrap. |
