Go Farm Hawaii - HereOnThePrimalEdge - 02-05-2015 Go Farm Hawaii is a university affiliated program to help people become farmers in Hawaii. Only on Oahu and Kauai right now, but would be a great program in Hilo if offered. Lots of emphasis on vegetable production to help our state become more food self sufficient. What are your thoughts? I think the US needs to pioneer more automated farming. If I could invest in a robot that would farm for me, I'd have 3 acres of crops. Imagine in a few decades we might have farming robots and forest maintenance robots and take-back-the-desert robots terraforming all our neglected land into food and habitat 24/7. |
