Honey for Sale - Royall - 02-08-2015

We have just harvested a batch of great tasting honey from our girls. It is all natural honey that has been coarse strained so there is a very thin layer of bees wax at the very top. Very easy to skim off if you don't care for wax. I'll not call it "Organic" as nobody knows where the girls go to get the nectar! [Wink]I do know there has been a lot of Lehua (Ohia) flowers in HPP and I've also seen lots of citrus in bloom too. The Mac nuts are also in bloom and can add a great dimension to the flavor.[:p] Bees will range 1-3 miles and as far as 10 miles to get the good stuff.

I'm selling it bulk as I don't want to buy those cute little bottles.

$55.00 for a gallon
$28.00 for a 1/2 gallon

Prices in your container.

*****I can put them into heavy duty Zip Lock freezer bags if you don't have any large containers for transporting. Easy to the decant into smaller bottles.*****

I do have honey in 1/2 gallon mason jars but there is a $7.00 deposit on the jar (that is what they cost me).

All you beekeepers are going to love this idea. Here's a new invention that will make a beekeepers job a whole lot easier.

Being able to have honey on tap directly from our beehives without disturbing the bees is a dream come true.
We are so excited to share our new invention with the world.

So, take it that you still have plenty available?

Best wishes

Yes, have plenty honey! The girls have been very busy with the great nectar from all the blossoms during the drought. Very flavorful.

Would a plastic jug that distilled water came in be good for storage, or would you recommend glass containers?

Best wishes

RE: Honey for Sale - Royall - 03-16-2015

mmbvd, I think that would work since it must be food grade plastic to begin with. I have started storing the honey in 5 gallon food grade buckets with special spigots now.
