Winter rental? - hawaiideborah - 04-17-2015 I am looking for a rental for 2 months sometime Dec- Feb this coming winter. Or two rentals, each for one month. This is for a couple from London. They are looking to spend under $750 monthly. Any leads? Thank you. RE: Winter rental? - Mimosa - 04-17-2015 Can you please be more specific . Do they wish to have DSL or Wi-Fi ? Pavement or no pavement ? Off grid or on ? Is this with utilities included or not ? In Puna or Hilo or where exactly on Hawaii the Island ? Will they need to take the bus or will they have a rental vehicle ? Are they shipping their vehicle over or ? Do they need to be close to the mall or shopping or with in an hours drive ? There are many places that rent by the month . Please be more specific . Thank You. RE: Winter rental? - Punatic007 - 04-17-2015 You might be able to find a budget vacation rental for that amount. Or a temporary rental but winter is the busy season for rentals. Craigslist is where you will find the lower priced rentals. Good luck! RE: Winter rental? - hawaiideborah - 04-17-2015 quote:DSL / wifi does not matter Off grid or on does not matter Puna, Hilo area They have a car to use Pavement doesn't matter, but needs to be accessqble by car, not 4 wheel drive Yes, hours drive to shopping is good, which is Puna or Hilo area Month of January and February. Up to $1000 total per month inc. utilities Could be a house sitting situation RE: Winter rental? - Mimosa - 04-17-2015 Several suggestions - Book now.Busy and hard to come by in the dead of winter. One suggestion is a room at Reeds Bay on Banyon Drive. The other is a yoga retreat along red road or in waa waa area. We know of several from Papaya farms Rd to Kalapana. Craigslist is also a great place to place your ad for their search. When placing your ad, make sure it is expressly specific . Hope this is helpful. Mrs.Mimosa |
