Beer question - TomK - 04-28-2015
I promised a friend of mine to buy some beers for doing a favour for me. Although they graciously declined the offer, there was a strong hint that Sierra Nevada Torpedo was quite nice.
The original offer was a six-pack but it's been so long I need to make it a 12-pack. Or more. But I have yet to find a place that sells it or when I do it's just out of stock (it must be good!).
I'll try Kadota's tomorrow, but if anyone knows a place that has that beer, please let me know. 12-pack or 2 x 6-packs will work.

On to say,
Torpedo is good but they can buy that everyday.
BUY ALL means go to Kadota and pick something from Belgium. Grab Pussers Rum while you there too. .. If you know what you looking for, this is perfect .... Otherwise, I suggest you K.I.S.S. and go to KTA. Below are ( also ) what they can find everyday. But as spice of life, variety.
1. If you want to play it safe / familiar but still want to give them something with "thought". Go with the latest Sierra Nevada "Beer Camp" ... NOT an IPA but they will appreciate the variety and hoppy taste. Seasonal ?
2. Something different, still an IPA that they may not try ( but for sure will still love ) and can buy everyday as well >>> Red Hook Long Hammer. Green box.
3. Stronger and better IPA taste than Torpedo ( IMO ) + recent in KTA. Widmer Bros., Upheaval IPA. Get 2 X 6 pack >>> DO NOT ! buy the 12 pack variety box.
4. A more complicated IPA taste that one might pass on for not knowing label but should neva'. Deschutes, Inversion IPA.
Apologies to Rob .... But forget about Mehana or Kona ....
