rubber tree recycling - Lee M-S - 04-30-2015

we cut down a young rubber about a year ago, and of course both the stump and trunk have resprouted.

Obviously, I need to take the cutoffs to the dump; if I put them in greenwaste and they get shredded, can the plant resprout from the tiny bits? I doubt it, but don't want to spread this nuisance--and stranger things have happened.

I've only gotten a few loads of mulch from the dump so far, but every time the pile has been pretty hot.

I've gotten a lot of dump mulch, and there are many new weeds sprouting where ever we use it, so I know it doesn't get hot enough to kill seeds. I think the shredded bits of rubber tree will probably be too small to resprout, just thought somebody might know.
