Steam Vent Inn - kjlpahoa - 05-14-2015 It appears that Rob Tucker has removed all together the post relating to the Steam Vent Inn. It was just getting interesting and very relevant to lower Puna. Why should it have been removed. Let's continue the discussion. Rob' we have a right to discuss this subject. RE: Steam Vent Inn - Guest - 05-14-2015 Pretty obvious isant it? it involved lawyers, judges, possible corruption, religion and pending ongoing cases? Hot as a steamvent! RE: Steam Vent Inn - pbmaise - 05-14-2015 Who was Jon Philip Toriumi???? When did he arrive in Puna? Where did he live??? When was Grassroots Church founded? Was Loran Lee a member? RE: Steam Vent Inn - Rob Tucker - 05-14-2015 Discussing the Inn was okay... but it got into too closely examining other people's private business. You are free to do that of course. Just not here. Assume the best and ask questions. Punaweb moderator RE: Steam Vent Inn - pbmaise - 05-14-2015 Loran Lee is dead Jon Philip Toriumi was a scammer I am looking at forged signatures on checks This is all public information RE: Steam Vent Inn - pbmaise - 05-14-2015 Mike Purvis please contact me Tucker. Who is "Matt" Luara did you find him by chance in Alameda? Blog Devoted to Capturing Puna Scammer Jon Phillip Toriumi Posted on November 25, 2008 by Damon I’m not gonna expand to much on this guys blog that was posted about a year ago. I’ve only heard stories of this Toriumi character, and from what I can tell, he scammed a lot of people from a Grassroots church here in Puna. I feel sorry for those that were taken by him. The only way to get justice would be to finally track him down… Who knows, he may come back to Pahoa! "Laura" Replied in Oct 2014 she found him. I may have the evidence and fit all pieces together. I was paid a visit by 3 people that said they represented a Church in Pahoa. This is exact time Jon was operating on the Island. I am very certain the names of those 3 are on a short list of 6 names. Jon Toriumi joined that list 1 hour ago. Every blog in Puna already has his name on it. He fits very well the missing piece of a puzzle. I am not quoting the other 5 names specifically because of site rules. I am also not able to say what I know as it is not established by a Court. Note: If you have information email me or submit directly to FBI office in Honolulu. To victims of any alledged scams by Toriumi the best way to nail him is cooperate. "Laura" reply 2014 and no one answering her tells me we have work. http://whereisjt.blogspot.in/2007/05/where-is-jt-where-is-my-money-where-is.html?m=1 https://www.blogger.com/profile/03937734007244846255 RE: Steam Vent Inn - pahoated - 05-14-2015 It is another eye opener that there is this whole whack world going on in south Puna. Also, the incredibly twisted thought processes that go on around here. Pbmaze is a member on this forum and hasn't made any effort to hide who he is. The other names are all on public court documents once you know which ones to look up. There is this web forming, to find Christie got the idea of his "ministry" at Kingdom of Heaven, plus all the other quack-religious formations, all with the wolf in sheep's clothing facade of being "charitable". An outsider might say these people have fried their minds on drugs. They are probably right. It also shows the extent of mainland transplants' distortion of the Hawaiian life and the meltdowns that follow. "Aloha also means goodbye. Aloha!" RE: Steam Vent Inn - lavalava - 05-14-2015 Funny how every time RJ gets involved in something - kjlpahoa shows up. Sativa or Sock Puppet? RE: Steam Vent Inn - kalakoa - 05-14-2015 Sativa or Sock Puppet? Graham. RE: Steam Vent Inn - pbmaise - 05-14-2015 Thank you for following. I am still waiting for someone to help with last clues to this puzzle. #1 A person named Jon Toriumi joined CAMPUS CRUSADE FOR CHRIST AT UCSB part of First Christian Church in March 2003. That places him in California. Working for a Christian group. #2 Lee closed the sale of the property early 2004. He left Hawaii soon after. #3 Spring 2004 till Fall 2004, someone was cashing checks sent to Lee in a bank in Alameda CA. Yes, the FBI was asked who cashed them. The most logical reason Lee didn't cash them is they were reportable income and would have hurt his SSI. If that bank comes back as Jon Toriumi he is nailed. #4 Fall 2004 - I stopped all checks to Lee per a garnishment order for Lee's frauds. If you haven't figured this part out, I sued Lee for trying to scam me and won. Actually, won the case like 6 times. #5 Winter 2004-2005 Lee returned to Hawaii flush with cash. Lee's goals were to overturn the garnishment order and toss Horowitz off property. #6 Early 2005. Did I mention Lee was flush with cash? Despite being on SSI and no income, Lee managed to produce almost $100,000 cash. This cash was taken to the bank, changed into securities and given to his lawyers. The bank tellers broke the law and divided big payments into separate securities below $10,000. It was reported but no action taken. #7 It has long been suspected Lee had a deep pocket somewhere in Pahoa. That person funded his lawsuits. #8 Around mid 2005? or 2006 three people visited me and claimed to be from a church. They wanted to settle. Sure, I said. Just pay what you owe me. They left. It is only 10 years later that I learn of Jon Toriumi, his association with a Church and his scamming of Church members in Pahoa. #9 I do not have a firm arrival date of JT in Puna. I want to know where he lived. #10 I have an upper bound for his departure from Puna. Owing to the failure Hawaii police to succeed in pressing charges, certainly someone filed a complaint, JT was free to go back to California. It appears he continued to scam. Conning for Cash or Crusading for Christ? By Bill Lascher VENTURA COUNTY REPORTER | JANUARY 14, 2008 His father was a minister who helped revive Little Tokyo, but was Jon Toriumi a catalyst following in paternal footsteps, or a con man? The mystery he has woven stretches from Hawaii to Southern California. #11 I have a possible unexplained reason why Seattle WA is involved. #12 If you were scammed, yes, I have a good idea where your money went. However, first help me clear the name JT or ..... Then, after that I want to chat about a more serious matter involving a gate, and a truck and driver that were trying to leave a property. Note: Corrected the name of the Church in California |
