Pretty nice video a few days ago. I always like these vids. Shows what any of our subdivisions could look like in hurry if the lava kept going.
Anyway, check it out in 1080HD ... Some pretty nice views. So the video says it's about 1.5 miles from the crack.

I think reality doesn't really hit home unless you were downslope from the flow and having HVO/CD tell you, it doesn't look good for your subdivision.
I really could care less about anything that happens in hawaii(be it telescopes, roads, etc..etc..). I just thank Pele for not taking out more than she did. I'm really thankful that she didn't cross 130 and make me drive railroad. There is so much to be thankful for that anything happening now is just molehill compared to what could have happened. I know that it could happen all over again, but well, to put it short, glad to be here with the extra time she gives us!
I guess one could say...This is living aloha!
