Does anyone know, is this magma moving under our feet, and shallow? RE: Quick shaker - dakine - 08-29-2015 Does anyone know, is this magma moving under our feet, and shallow? By the looks of things, i.e., looking at HVO's seismic page as seen at: http://hvo.wr.usgs.gov/seismic/volcweb/earthquakes/index.php there's a series of events over the last few days that are way small in size and at varying depths. All are on the southern flank and distributed so widely as to suggests minor (unless this activity increases) structural changes in the edifice verses magmatic processes along the rift. But hey the Earth is so dynamic that they could just as easily be the leading edge of major changes. Fun methinks.
