I never got into it, not much into crowds. My time's worth way more than that anyway.

I just saved $200 by spending $500 on stuff I never needed in the first place. It was great! [Wink]

I can't believe that stores are now promoting shopping on Thanksgiving, instead of waiting until Friday.

I think Black Friday is an excellent day to garden. Super Bowl Sunday is the day to go shopping.

This is one statistic we can be proud of. Black Friday mania is a disease.

Super savings was good when my kids were growing up, xmas stuff, but, never on black Friday, it's just a bunch of crap they drag in for the pretend sale. . After developing chronic rheumatoid arthritis providing for my family made things pretty tough. However, Xmas day, no crowds, red or blue light deals, without em, $100 bucks a year, total budget, would have meant onions and potatoes for em. But, hush, don't spread the word, otherwise, they'll begin calling it blue and red, 'Black Christmas'.

Now the kids are grown and each across the country so far, I don't need no stinkin black tags. Bah, humbug. Those xmas mornings, rushing from one sale to another were exciting, I miss them, so much so, Been thinking to write a new Christmas song.. Goes like this; 'I'm dreaming,, of a blue, red & black, ,, but can't think of the rest of the words.

I suppose if my tv craps out I might be interested ... I kinda wonder how the sales are this year...? Kind of lackluster... Tho, maybe it's just me.

Tried looking for black friday deals on mosquito repellents, but couldn't find any. So I bought a TV as a backup in case mine breaks down, a nice outdoor fountain which couldn't possibly breed mosquitoes and a fantastic GPS system that lets me drive around the island without getting lost. The savings were tremendous and I could have found more if only my credit card hadn't stopped working for some reason.
