The rumor is that the Puna B&Bs are getting cancellations due to the recent dengue outbreaks. Anyone care to confirm or deny?

Not so at the one I work at, nobody (guests) has even mentioned it so far. No cancellations. More are still concerned about the lava flow and especially if it affects shopping more than anything else.

Philippines saw more than 100,000 Dengue Fever cases in 2015. it was record tourist year

and, yes based on huge number of cases in Philippines and large number of Filipino residents in Hawaii, it is quite possible dengue came to Hawaii from the Philippines
