I just found out it was a the neighbors behind me. The guy shot his girlfriends ex in the driveway, killed him. The guy was coming at him with a bat.

Kapoho Beach Lots? It isn't up on nixie yet and the Oahu news sites haven't reported it yet.

"Aloha also means goodbye. Aloha!"

RE: Gunshots in Beachlots - leilaniguy - 03-07-2016

It was just a blurb on KGMB. No info. from them other than "a shooting reported on Kumakahi Street in the Beachlots".

news sites haven't reported it yet..

You want what? Sheesh there were multiple deaths, and at least one of them a horrific murder, in Waipio Valley last week and they've hardly been mentioned in the news until today. And that was just the name of one person although the manner in which he was killed hasn't been reported, and nor has any mention of the others at all. Our news, and probably the police, are completely unaccountable.

Shot a guy wielding a bat? That'll be an interesting case.

News organizations are usually pretty quick when it comes to deaths. How do you know about these multiple deaths last week in Waipio and they don't?

Have to agree with Paul. What multiple deaths in Waipio Valley are you talking about? If they are not being reported by the police or the media, it seems at the very least you should be contacting some media source about this. What's more confusing is that you say they were mentioned in the media today. I see no reports other than the murder investigation that began today for the body found in the valley a few days ago.

ETA. Reread dakine's post and am now more baffled than ever.

The multiple deaths were only reported by the media today but they haven't been mentioned at all? WTF?

After that bizarre interlude, HNN have a very brief report available online.

RE: Gunshots in Beachlots - Mimosa - 03-07-2016

We have an aunty down in YPO who has lived more than 45 years in the valley and she says that the fellow who died last week was a very mean drunk who drowned in the same exact spot as his uncle some 12 years to the day in 8 inches of water late in the night .

I disavow the tinfoil hat brigade. I'm just reporting a love triangle gone really bad.
