Hail! - EightFingers - 03-24-2016

We're getting it on Kaloli point. Need some lightning and thunder now. [Big Grin]

RE: Hail! - TomK - 03-24-2016

Wow. I'm on the northern part of Kaloli Point and no hail here!

RE: Hail! - EightFingers - 03-24-2016

It didn't last long and was pretty small, but it was LOUD on the roof!

RE: Hail! - Kenney - 03-24-2016

How fun. Its been a good 20 years since we had hail mid HPP!

RE: Hail! - TomK - 03-24-2016

Did anyone actually see any hail? Sorry for being a little skeptical but it's not that cold aloft, so am surprised hail could form without some significant convection.

Whoo hoo !

Bucket out, mix with beverage or choice ...

aloha,
pog

Maybe it was frogs

RE: Hail! - macuu222 - 03-25-2016

Or Myna birds. Sometimes they get into brawls on our roof and all their little feet on our roof moving around could sound like pieces of hail striking the roof.

RE: Hail! - pahoated - 03-25-2016

The lightening started a big brush fire up north. There have been arsons and other brush fires burning for days before this. Mahalo for Puna spring showers.

"Aloha also means goodbye. Aloha!"

I've been looking at the doppler and I see no storm coming here. Looks like it's lifted off to the North.
