land court trust filing - Malapuaao - 05-27-2016

We just want to make sure our kids are named in the property. The gal who used to do this for me for ~$500 in the past has retired so I asked a lawyer friend who does this and she says they charge $1200-2400 and up.

So I wonder, has anyone tried using some online service like "http://deedandrecord.com/hawaii_real_estate" (a CA outfit, from the looks of it) that charges $250? I'm skeptical.

I would love to file myself but I don't have any forms or templates or really a clue how to do it correctly.

Investigate Legalzoom.com or a paralegal paperwork source and file yourself. I created a revocable trust with the house and property on it and filed with the County the property is on.

Mahalo Tink.

I read up a bit more and found out Hawaii now allows TODs which is a good option. I'm sure there are free versions of the forms listed here:
