New weather stations on Weather Underground - VancouverIslander - 06-06-2016
For the longest time, there were no weather stations between Hilo and Volcano (along belt road at least), although there were some in HPP. Two people have very nicely added stations in Kurtistown and Fern Acres. I certainly appreciate their efforts and thank them for doing this.

My HPP station went out a fews days after I got to British Columbia but I got it restarted today.

I appreciate these as well. I had one in Leilani that worked about 98% of the time for about a year, then basically disintegrated from our rainforest weather. So props to all of you who are taking better care of your weather station than I did!
