D-Day June 6 1944 - BillyB - 06-06-2016

Seems all but forgotten. Was there anything in the newspaper? I didn't see it.

Bless them all.

Anyone who was 18 in '44 is at least 90 years old (not counting the crafty kids who lied about their age). It's a shame that as these veterans fade from sight, so do the tributes. The news had 5 minutes about D-Day and then back to Trump.

Peanuts referenced it in today's paper.

Thank you, BillyB. My father went over to Normandy on D-Day. A lost generation I'm afraid.
