IF this is true " witnesses say the perpetrator manages the Lava Shack bar in Pahoa.", then we all have choices:
Do we continue to patronize Lava Shack, or not?
Do we encourage bands like Sudden Rush to find alternative venues until this is resolved, or not?

Do we strive to find another way for the homeless issue is handled in our communities, or do we endorse mean-spirited actions?

I'm... going .. to type .. this slow... for the Pahoa business owners who don't read to fast...
why don't you offer the homeless a meal... or a few dollars...to keep your lot picked up...(just sayin..)
...most homeless people ( not counting the ones that are bat crap crazy)... are more than willing to help you out.

In this statement to the HawaiiNewsNow people Mohr is clearly admitting he, or someone else from his establishment, were responsible for the attack, otherwise they would have no reason to be ashamed. Which facts are you suggesting be checked before boycotting? All the Pahoa businesses have to deal with the local homeless population who live on Pahoa main street, no one else has responded by pepper spraying or macing a guy in a wheelchair after throwing ice water on him.

What if an employee of the Lava Shack, working late at night on his own, made a bad personal decision that the owner himself would never make or condone?
Not saying this is the case, but it's a possibility.

Doubtful, if he's being sued. It would be an admission of guilt that his employee, who's actions he is financially responsible for, attacked a helpless, wheelchair bound person. He would probably lose his business to pay for a court case. If the owner is lucky, he has some kind of insurance that will provide for an out of court settlement.
