So the introduced Aedes aegypti mosquitoes are genetically modifying humans by transmitting the Zika virus and causing our offspring to be born with shrunken heads, and the future victims of this plague don't want to use genetically modified Aedes aegypti mosquitoes to stop it?
I knew that eventually our species run at the top of the food chain would come to an end, but I never figured it would come crashing down because incidents like these where people get their GMO education from Facebook and bow to the biased media's interpretation of political correctness.

State's advice is still "avoid getting bitten by mosquitos."

The Hawaii Department of Health and Disease Control deserve a lot of credit for bringing the dengue outbreak under control and preventing local Zika, so far. Also, on Oahu, they have almost totally eradicated Aedes aegypti, a really fantastic achievement.

Peoples' priority is totally skewed these days. They worry about the impact of GMO mosquitoes wiping out mosquitoes and how that may affect some birds food supply. These kids are being born with no human brain, the cerebral cortex never develops, all that is left is the primordial lizard brain. Some non-endangered birds having mosquitoes as part of their food supply are more important?
This opposition is coming from the acronym GMO being made synonymous with the word "demon". So many, so mentally challenged.

Oahu's victory over Aedes aegypti was only possible due to DDT. I was surprised to read that people are calling for DDT to be brought back to fight Zika.
I'm not a scientist but sometimes the devil you know isn't safer than the GMO. Hey that has a nice rhyme to it. I'm going to claim it as intellectual property:

Mosquitoes are doing way more damage to birds (particularly native birds) via various diseases and infections than helping them (by being a food source).
