Meanwhile... We can't even get our $hit together to open up a medical dispensary that has been in the works for a year now.
I think our state government... esp, our governor is retarded... That kinda cash could do a lot of road work in puna! Just think about the huge boost this could give in jobs alone.

Hawaii island and or Puna doesn't have the representation with plums enough to fight for money for this county.. unless it is for parks for the homeless to live in or dogs to crap in.

It does serve as a cautionary tale to show what can happen when one ethnic group decides they don't like the way things are going. They believe if only one of their ethnic group was in charge the situation could be improved... and then they pick Ige to lead the charge. Except Ige can't figure out which direction he's charging, creating a leadership that's indecisive, ineffective, and certainly disproves the point his backers were trying to make.

Some people didn't like Abercrombie because he made his own choice to complete the term of Senator Daniel Inouye in the U.S. senate after the senator died.
The law states the governor makes the appointment, not the deceased former office holder, but some people took offense and worked to unseat Abercrombie in the next election.
