Contractor to Rebuild a Landing - tweez - 01-17-2017 Hi all, I did a forum search and did really not find what I was looking for. Just bought a house and the landing at the top of the stairs leading to the lanai needs to be replaced/rebuilt (I am thinking composite decking). It is currently tiled and the tiles are all cracked and loose. Any recommendations of contractors/professionals for this type of work? Mahalo, T RE: Contractor to Rebuild a Landing - Lee M-S - 01-17-2017 Where are you? some contractors prefer to work close to home. I have someone who might be available, if you live in lower Puna RE: Contractor to Rebuild a Landing - tweez - 01-17-2017 I am in Kapoho RE: Contractor to Rebuild a Landing - Dot - 01-21-2017 Aloha, give Eric Ahu a call, he does beautiful concrete work, building etc...tell him Dorothy referred him. 808-217-2976. He helped us immensely with our first house, I can send you pics if you want. Best wishes - Dot RE: Contractor to Rebuild a Landing - EightFingers - 01-21-2017 Composite does not weather well if you're near the ocean. It also requires more support than regular 2x wood. RE: Contractor to Rebuild a Landing - tweez - 01-24-2017 Thank you! RE: Contractor to Rebuild a Landing - Lee M-S - 01-24-2017 I checked with my friend, he's busy and is not looking for new work. Sorry. |
