If you somehow still think it will make any difference, go, but it's three hours of your life that you'll never get back.

Took about 45 minutes just to try and get the minutes approved. They weren't.
No real information about the mailboxes except for this little tidbit: HPPOA will control the keys........???
The bond thing, names wre named, but not a lot more info there. At least the presentation was coherent.

"HPPOA will control the keys........???"

Yeah that's how it works now.The USPS is not doing that anymore .

The USPS is not going to provide mailboxes either.

That part is true, the postal customer is responsible for mailbox costs. This includes subdivisions. However, the USPS controls the keys.
Another thing I heard was the USPS is a Federal entity. It is not. It is a private organization controlled by Congress.
Maybe getting one of our Congresspersons to attend a meeting might be a good idea.
We're going to have to polish our act a little, or we won't have any credibility.

or we won't have any credibility.

No, that ship has sailed.

No, USPS is NOT a private organization. It is an independent agency of the federal government.

Who controls keys? You are partly correct, in that there are generally at least two keys for each box. These keys should be given to the box holder. USPS controls the door on the rear of the cluster, allowing access to throw mail. USPS puts it's own lock on the back.
I believe this to be academic, since my understanding is that this whole proposal is 1. Illegal according to the bylaws and 2. Illegal as to the proposed placement of the boxes.
The usual Board SNAFU.
