A parking area is no less "desecration" than a telescope; both are construction, with rocks moved during site prep, etc.
Also: each parking space costs $38250. That's like a half-mile of HPP chip seal.

I think some questions are better directed to OHA than the "Protectors" as such.
Tell us again, what is the purpose of OHA?
