'Big Island Thieves' Page - YurtGirl - 04-08-2017
Does anyone know what happened to the Big Island Thieves page on Facebook? It was a good resource for a long time, sharing photos of known thieves and things like that, even though it would often spin out into mean name calling and trolling. Huh. Where does that happen?
Anyway, I realized I hadn't seen anything from there in a while and when I searched, it didn't pull up. I considered that a very positive way to fight back on the crime waves; shame the thieves, educate the public. Wondering if it got hit with libel/slander or if the moderator just got sick of having to treat people like they were 10 and issue time outs.
Happy weekend, Punatics! We are going to plant some lettuce in our hanging planters and enjoy this sunshine!

It's still there.Just looked at it.
I unsubscribed because I couldn't stand all of the updates with all of the foul language and name calling.It seems all of the thieves and their family members are on there.

Most of the rest of the posts are about stolen cars and usually the keys were left in the car.

Haa! Bananahead, I think that must be what happened because I can't search it, it doesn't come up. Neither does the link you shared. How very odd, I can't for the life of me think of anything that I said that might have tweaked his nose? Unless maybe he was friend's with the thieves I blasted? Huh! As a friend of ours often says... people can be so very peopley.

yup, probably got banned.
I thought I got banned from there a few times.
I read it from time to time. I wish it was only posts about crimes. A lot of jokes and stuff not even related to the big island has been posted there.
But, yeah, if you car is 201X, then you know the thief either stole the keys or the keys were in the ignition.
