They have been providing the food for the Naniloa ever since it reopened. It definitely hasn't helped the service or food in Pahoa Kaleos.
I wonder if they will ever move to the new shopping center if and when it opens.

I worked in restaurants most of my young adult life, there is no formula that says if you cater a second venue it's required that your original venue immediately dial back the service and start serving crap food. In fact the opposite usually happens, the two locations provide hybrid vigor of equipment and talent, and both locations are better off for it. But gross mismanagement can ruin anything. JMHO.
ETA: the JMHO part.

Pam and I will actually be staying at the Naniloa in August. I'll let you know our experiences of the hotel and dining when the time comes.

No, a little too early in the year for that! Hilton had a flash sale for their Hawaiian hotels and I managed to get a large suite at the Naniloa for a little over $100 per night. I've wanted to check out the new hotel for a while now, so saw this as a perfect opportunity to bring Pam over for a few days.
