Using toilet tanks as planters - EightFingers - 07-03-2017 Anyone ever done this? Seems like they would have good drainage. Wonder if there is way to disguise them. Seems to be strong enough. That said, if the toilet planter were visible from the street, County would probably construe evidence of a bathroom remodel, for which you had better have your permits (and licensed contractor). That said ... I've always thought toilet planters were trashy, until I saw one with a huge agave, it looked really cool. I have some "spare" toilets, but where do I find the agave?
