Ferrocement Catchment "Urn" Costs? - YurtGirl - 08-07-2017 Aloha Puna Webbers, Our metal tank's liner just sprung a leak and after pricing replacement costs of over $1500 including labor for just the liner, we are considering replacing the ugliness with one of Pacific Gunnite's very attractive catchment urns. Have any of you or your friend's done this? Anyone know costs for the urns? The typical ferrocement tank prices are on their website, but not the urns and no one has answered the phone when we call. We are without water so I'm scrambling to try to make a quick decision. Here are the regular tank prices http://www.pacificgunite.com/prices-and-dimensions.html the urns are 50% more. They require more labor and special formwork. Thanks for the interest http://www.pacificgunite.com/custom-designs.html RE: Ferrocement Catchment "Urn" Costs? - YurtGirl - 08-10-2017 Thanks, Peter! I suspected you might be away from the desk for a bit. Good to know, I love those urns. I think we will start saving up so that next time we need a costly repair we can look at upgrading. Do they come with a lid? Melissa Fletcher ___________________________ "Make yurts, not war" Bill Coperthwaite, 1973 |
