All Things Cannabis - Peter Easterling - 08-25-2017 We attended the All Things Cannabis festival and had a fine time. Mahalo for our politicians who took their time to express their views. Russell Ruderman gave a knowledgeable, logical overview of the various aspects of the marijuana issues. After the speeches we were entertained by a large man with a tiny ukulele. Like a haole Israel Kamakawiwo'ole without talent. He sang (more or less) two tunes. "Hash Omelette" and "I'm Too Stoned." The latter was fascinating as he droned "I'm too stoned, I'm not stoned enough" for several minutes with scant instrumental ability, a monotone delivery and the two silly lyrics repeated over and over. I have never seen or heard a performer, except perhaps at karaoke, so skilless. Is there a video of his act? Would really like to see him at least one more time. RE: All Things Cannabis - Hunt Stoddard - 08-25-2017 Just a guess--maybe he was stoned? Also, it's so damn hot today. Aloha ![]() RE: All Things Cannabis - Kapoho Joe - 08-27-2017 No joke Peter - you heard the seminal San Francisco stoner song "Too Stoned" by the Three Stoned Men. I have the mp3 if you'd like to hear it again... |
