Just to let you know, it's mid-August and it's currently snowing on the summit of Mauna Kea.

All of a sudden, knowing there's snowflakes falling on Mauna Kea it feels cooler tonight. Better grab a blanket!

When was the last time it snowed in August!? Bizarre weather!

RE: Hawaiian snow - TomK - 08-22-2017

It snowed again last night. I was up there this morning and there was still some snow and ice on the ground, but it didn't last very long.
