Roof paint for catchment - Chunkster - 10-04-2017
I am repainting my house soon, and it was suggested that I paint the metal roof. Can anyone recommend a type or brand of paint that would be durable and safe for catchment. We don't currently drink the catchment water, but may add UV filters later and do so. Thanks!

The house surveyor I hired recommended Gaco silicone based roof paint. Said it's good for 50 years. (!) I believe they carry it at Ace Hardware on Kilauea.

Sherwin Williams has this ASTM certified paint which is an EPA approved roof coating for drinking water. Ask for Brad!
