Fireworks starting early! - EightFingers - 12-08-2017

Pilikai and D is where it looks like they’re coming from. These were big ones too.
Started at about 8:30 tonight.

I was told they were coming from the house at the corner of Pilikai and Kupaoa. They were having some sort of party there.
I guess no one else heard them.

I heard them. Made me jump a foot off the couch at first.

Could hear 'em faintly all the way to 3rd and Makuu.

Assholes.

I agree with Kapoho Joe. Don't these "men" have anything better to spend their money on? I guess they get pleasure from disturbing the peace, hurting dogs' eardrums and, mostly, because they're getting away with doing something illegal. I'm only talking about the big explosions that torture my dogs. [Sad!]

To be honest, I engaged in this sort of activity as a youth but I convened with other like minded youths at a big empty hayfield, miles away from any homes.

Blasting fireworks in a subdivision with acre sized lots is asinine. You need about 40 acres or so to do that crap without annoying your neighbors.

This happened on Kaloli Pt on a half acre lot.

RE: Fireworks starting early! - Kapoho Joe - 12-10-2017

1/2 acre is not even enough room to blast a stereo, let alone use fireworks.
