Thanks to a poster named Gary on the Eden Roc forum for the updates. Apparently last November, the telco did a lot of upgrading. Here's a link to the services. You can click one of the links and enter your address to see what is available in your neighborhood:

Apparently, way near the back of Eden Roc, you can get Gigabit internet at a decent price. Welcome to the modern world.

I am supposedly getting hooked up on Saturday for 1 gigabit service. My neighbor is scheduled to get service sometime in March.

I got it end of. November in eden roc it is working just fine lot better then excede
I live in front of eden roc could get up 1gbite
