Vehicle Inspections - Mr nice guy - 02-09-2018

Aloha,

I see that the latest thread on this ever changing subject is almost 2 years old and I'm going to have to get a vehicle inspection in the next few days.

The vehicle does have a crack on the passenger side and I'd rather not replace it if I can avoid it as it is in good shape otherwise.

Does anybody have any suggestions of which company is efficient at getting the inspections done?

Probably not going to happen ! They have to take pictures !

Sure, they take pictures.

This crack is small and isn't likely to be noticeable in a photo.

Does anybody else have a recommended station?

Don't go to any of the dealerships or chain stores.

Note the direction of the sun, get inspected in either morning or afternoon, whichever puts the sun behind the shop so that your car is in the shade.

I have heard that on some cracks in glass you can spray some WD-40 or penetrating oil on it and it will disappear for awhile. I have heard that Super-Glue works too.

I can hardly wait for when Hawaii starts testing cars for smog!
