Moon landing hoax - it was done right here - TomK - 03-02-2018 Somehow, this wormed its way into my inbox tonight. Anyway, some "astronomer", and that word is used loosely, claims the moon landings were actually filmed on Mauna Kea. https://www.express.co.uk/news/weird/926357/MOON-HOAX-PROVED-where-NASA-filmed-fake-lunar-landings-on-Earth "EXCLUSIVE: An astronomer, who interviewed 14 NASA Apollo astronauts about whether the Moon landings actually happened, believes he may have found the top-secret location where they could have been staged on Earth. David Bryant, a British former Naval pilot, believes a hill near the summit of Mauna Kea in Hawaii may have been used as a backdrop for some of the footage that was then aired to the world as men landing on the Moon." Have fun! RE: Moon landing hoax - it was done right here - PaulW - 03-02-2018 A new and interesting use of the word "proved". Oh those British papers. RE: Moon landing hoax - it was done right here - Hunt Stoddard - 03-02-2018 He also says this, so I'm not too worried:
Mr Bryant goes further still in his book to suggest that the first lunar mission may have actually been a success, but that those who landed on the Moon discovered it was already occupied by aliens and were warned never to return, hence the title of his book.
Funny thing is, the astronauts actually DID train on Mauna Kea: http://www.businessinsider.com/old-photos-show-astronauts-training-in-hawaii-2014-6 RE: Moon landing hoax - it was done right here - TomK - 03-02-2018 Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa are great places to test both humans and rovers as the landscape is similar to both the moon and Mars. The problem is, that leads to the most bizarre conspiracy theories. It's the way things are, but some of us do try and slowly turn this around, but growing social media is destroying skepticism. Then again, it's often not hard to figure out whack-job websites. This has Mauna Kea somewhere on the website, but it has the usual symptom of placing everything in one place and making it impossible to understand: http://moontruth.org/_main.htm By the way, does anyone have info about the latest alien landings at the Puna "Star Visitor Sanctuary? Just curious. http://www.hawaiistarvisitorsanctuary.org/ RE: Moon landing hoax - it was done right here - HereOnThePrimalEdge - 03-03-2018 the moon landings were actually filmed on Mauna Kea. Thank you TomK for bringing this important revelation to our attention. As a child, I never considered why NASA would build the world's largest rocket, the Saturn V, if not to fake a moon landing by burning tons of fuel just to make the liftoff look super spectacular for the cameras. It certainly appeared that humanity was about to take a giant leap forward. Then there is the similarity between a tightly cropped photo of a hill on Mauna Kea, and the "Moon." Coincidence? I think not. After all, what are the chances that two small areas on the earth and the "Moon" might look roughly the same, given that both spheres comprise a surface area covering millions of square miles, and were created by the same forces? What about the meeting of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin with aliens on the surface of the moon? Or was it underground? Given that we have spent 50 years photographing the entire lunar surface including the dark side, and no alien bases or cities have been revealed, are the inhabitants all beneath the surface? Or is the NASA Photoshop guy just that good? And, bonus question, when was the last time a couple of white guys discovered a new land and the occupants greeting them asked if they would leave and not come back, that the white guys replied, "Sure, OK." I'll only add, is there any better place on earth to perpetuate a hoax than on the slopes of Mauna Kea? Recycle Puna. Humans, although probably not you personally, have already left 400,000 pounds of trash on the moon. - YouTube's Half As Interesting RE: Moon landing hoax - it was done right here - kalakoa - 03-03-2018 What about the meeting of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin with aliens on the surface of the moon? Faked, but not the way people think: obviously the lunar lander went through some kind of stable wormhole ("starbridge") so that the aliens could host the meeting on one of their moons, tens of lightyears away where nobody from Earth could possibly interfere. RE: Moon landing hoax - it was done right here - PaulW - 03-03-2018 The hoaxers should've stopped at one moon landing but no, they had to go for six. Amazing the amount of energy wasted on this. Then again there are also many people who truly believe that the Earth is flat. RE: Moon landing hoax - it was done right here - TomK - 03-05-2018 This is one I've seen on a couple of sites thanks to google alerts, and the latest is from the Bobr Times, whatever that is. The video shows ice pillars above East Hawaii, a well-known phenomenon when light is scattered by ice crystals in the atmosphere. This site seems to think that this can't happen in Hawaii. So it must be aliens. https://bobrtimes.com/over-hawaii-appeared-mysterious-beam-of-light/9687/ Hopefully, someone can point them to the fact that high clouds over Hawaii can be made of ice and that it also snows on Mauna Kea. In other words, what a load of bollocks. "In Hawaii no suitable conditions for the occurrence of natural phenomena, so this way of solving the anomaly is eliminated." RE: Moon landing hoax - it was done right here - HereOnThePrimalEdge - 03-06-2018 "In Hawaii no suitable conditions for the occurrence of natural phenomena..." OK. Well, that would certainly make everything from rainbows to thunder in Hawaii a breaking news story in the Bobr Times. I'll only add, if their reporter ever hears about lenticular clouds, watch out. I don't think he could handle the potential explanations. If he gets to thinking too much about it, brain boom, probably the end of Bobr Times. The sign of a genius is that he talks louder after he finishes talking. RE: Moon landing hoax - it was done right here - Carey - 03-06-2018 Gee, Ralph only needed to get Alice to Hawaii Island! |
