Pahoa businesses open / not open / hours - terracore - 05-26-2018
There has been a lot of stuff on social media about how the businesses in Pahoa are suffering because the traffic has dried up.
"We're still open and we need your business".
The wife and I decided to do our part and go have lunch there today. We wanted to eat at Roy's so we checked their hours online and went there, but they had a sign on their door that said due to the lava they were only open from 3-9 today.
Next stop was Pele's kitchen. There were people in there eating but when we walked in they said SORRY WE'RE CLOSED.
We walked passed Boogie Woogie because I've never had a good meal there, the next open place was Nings, so they got our money.
I didn't post this to whine about the places not being open, my point is that the emergency really is affecting these family run businesses and they really do need us to continue to patron them. Just call them first and don't go on the information on their websites or facebook pages.
