Coffee Shop in CU Hawaii, Keaau - honolulu - 03-21-2008
Does anyone know what's up with the Kope Kope Coffee Shop that used to be in CU Hawaii in Keaau? They were open last week and now, -poof-, nothing!

I have asked both at the CU and the main Kope Kope in Hilo. Both times the answer is that it has been closed for over a week and they don't know when/if it will reopen again.
Kope Kope was sold this year to a new owner so I would speculate that they haven't decided whether to keep the CU branch open.
Shame because it was the only source of coffee on the way into Hilo. I think a lot of people didn't know it was there.
