First it was inundation by LFA; now it's flies. Anyone else having the problem of not being able to go outside these days due to swarms of flies? Any ideas on how to combat?

Ive had some success with the plastic bottle fly trap. Lots of variations of what bait to use.. but works fairly well over a few days time.
Im on mobile or id throw a link, but just google it.
I have a sudden craving for popcorn..

What kind of flies? They typically only arrive in numbers when there is something to support their population. Different flies have different control techniques. Do you live around livestock?

Walk the perimeter of your property...see if there are any dead animals.

High Humidity can cause flies and other annoying insects to get "busier" [que 70's porn music] than normal. Poisons arent always an option if you have children or fur babies running around.

Use fly traps ,but hang them 100 ft away from house, they will catch lots

We use these. They work but are stinky, so hang them away from the house. They have them at the Hilo Home Depot and other local stores.

If you like watching lizards eat flies, these will entertain you. The lizards learn that the bags attract the flies and will get very fat (like almost too fat to move) camping out on the bags "helping you" get rid of the flies.
