Can you smell that? - ElysianWort - 10-13-2018

The other thread, (do you smell that?), has been locked.

None the less when you awake at 5:00 a.m. the wind is almost at zero but the smell of sulfur has crept in overnight in Hawaiian Acres. That leads me to believe we are in for a day of southern winds and possible extra heat.

Yep I smelled sulphur this morning. Beautiful sunrise.

So if nothing is happening in the vents...where's the smell coming from?

If u drive by black sand sub,you go right thru clouds of steam all day. So ,trades die, south winds blow.

And here I thought it was just my dogs this morning!

RE: Can you smell that? - Punatic007 - 10-13-2018

Serious sulfur venting or collecting in the lower Puna area. Headaches and feeling very tired and thick headed reported all along the lower Puna coast up to Ala'ili Rd.(across from Leilani) today and yesterday.

I'm hoping and assuming this is part of the settling process after such an enormous lava event.

We will continue to smell this for months when the trades die
