The goal is to have fields of hemp spewing male pollen into the trade winds that will cross pollinate with the medicinals making them worthless.

1. Dispensary production is required to be indoors, so will not be affected.
2. No large-scale hemp growing operation will be allowed "near someone's house".

Have you seen the price of CBD oil these days? Completely legal and can be bought in stores and online. Super expensive. These hemp plants are a good source of CBD from what I've heard. More value than just rope and fiber.

Is CBD really "completely legal"? Great dual use for the crop if it is.
Dispensaries would be super stoked to have all the home grown crops ruined...

I thought it was completely legal. Pretty sure of it. Just the THC part isn't, as far as I understand. The other compounds extracted, including CBD's are legal as long as they don't have any of that THC stuff in it.
What dispensaries? We have one on the big island yet?
I doubt it will create problems if they accordingly plan their proximity from one another.

And the bill does not broadly legalize all CBD products, but rather those that contain CBD derived from legally produced industrial hemp.
