I saw a funny(?) cartoon on the web today, family at the dinner table, father says "Sorry your legs don't work Jimmy but the internet and your mother's yoga teacher told us vaccines were bad".

That is funny, considering the article you linked mentions that the internet supports the policy change and a testifying MD was opposed.
I don't understand how the change relates to school age kids, since it only mentions new vaccine requirements for infants up to 2 years old. Since when are these little buggers in school? Seems like it'd be tough to enforce this with all parents.

The "testifying MD" is an obvious kook, just google her name. Anti-GMO protestor etc. She seems to believe that aging can be reversed.
Read the article again, DF, maybe this time you'll understand it.
By the way, "the internet says" vs newspapers quoting official sources through their websites is something quite different, as I'm sure you know but choose to pretend you don't.

"The fluid in Ferrigno's bicep could have been a reaction to the vaccine, or it might have been because the vaccination itself was not done properly, according to Dr. William Schaffner, an infectious disease specialist at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine
The skin might not have been appropriately disinfected before the shot, or the needle or vaccine could have been mishandled, said Schaffner, who did not treat Ferrigno.
Ferrigno encouraged his fans to be their own advocates when they're getting a shot."

I've heard that people complaining about vaccine reactions are crisis-conspiracy-patient-actors. They rehearse and memorize a script describing their symptoms. When finished with their claims of illness, then they'll try and sell you gold coins and freeze dried food pellets.
