All hotels are required to accept "service animals".

No hotels that I know but Motel6 does though I’ve never seen one here. On the other hand, there are quite a few Vacation rentals and some can be found on Hotels.com

I hate to say it, but Trip Advisor has a search button for pet friendly hotels. Now all you need is a recommendation from one of our favorite Forum Destination Experts:.

Try the Sheraton Keauhou. They allowed dogs before Marriott took over, maybe still do?

HOTPE, I hate to say that I checked Trip Advisor after seeing your post, but it helped!!
Sheraton Kona Resort and Spa at Keauhou Bay will let you bring your dog and it doesn't have to be a service animal.
