RE: rain gauge readings for this flood - ElysianWort - 02-20-2019 At least it stopped in the early morning hours. The 8+ I got was from Monday evening and most of Tuesday. I bet it was a couple inches more total. RE: rain gauge readings for this flood - Punaperson - 02-20-2019 As of 8am this morning, 10.5". Overcast, but not raining now. RE: rain gauge readings for this flood - Mangosteen - 02-21-2019 Alia Point (Pepeekeo) 11 inches over the past 7 days. Catchment tank over flowing with nice fresh water. RE: rain gauge readings for this flood - ElysianWort - 02-23-2019 Wow!!!! Two hours of crazy hard, biblically hard rain here in HA. From relatively dry to flash flooding in an instant. Not sure of how much rain that was because I failed to fully empty my gauge from the other day. RE: rain gauge readings for this flood - ElysianWort - 02-23-2019 Ok I looked at my less accurate alternative measurement: The five gallon bucket i left out this morning. The ruler I dipped into it is showing around 5 inches in two hours??!! RE: rain gauge readings for this flood - Chunkster - 02-23-2019 We had 1.7 inches here in central HPP, but we could tell that it was really rocking up mauka. |
