After living here in Puna for 15 years plus, I am happy to go to punatalk and see no earth-shattering episodes of imediate concern. Let's admit, we have been through the ringer! While I appreciate your good sentiments unfortunately I disagree and consider the protesting astronomy debacle and lack of proper government action and police enforcement to be an earth shattering episode of immediate concern. Politicians who don't respect and act upon supreme court decisions? Never have I seen such ignorance damaging the one thing that lifts our struggling culture from the depths of racism and a myriad other low standards.
