Another is a guard may have dropped his keys? Or left the door unlocked? We do occasionally hear of an armored truck driving down the road and spilling a blizzard of money out the back doors when "someone" forgot to lock or close them properly. Same person driving and carrying the money! At some point the bank is insured and we are FDIC insured and more money is printed up, so I guess the guards are just a requirement to reduce paperwork and save the environment. In other news, $500k is small potatoes. I know a guy that's gonna score $1.5M from the county for an $80k ag lot in Pahoa. |
